For many of you the markets of ES, EUR/USD and USD/JPY loom with much attraction. Why? Due to such reasons as their profit-potential mixture of liquidity, volatility, history and market significance (i.e., relationship with US, European and Japanese economies). The CME just changed the trading hours for the ES. If you have any questions or are confused about when the trading day ends and then starts again, let me know.
I’d bet you’d like to know the kinds of orders our platforms can take. Market orders, limits, stops, OCOs, etc. How about this one: “if-then” orders that allow you to say, “If I get filled on my ES order, then place my NQ (mini-NASDAQ) order.” We can also take time orders, such as: place my ES order at 8:30:00 am CST and then at 8:30:01 am CST cancel that order if not filled.
Confused by what you’ve heard about “margin?” For the ES futures contract we offer day-trading margin of $500 per contract. You have to determine for yourself the best combination of trade size and use of margin that best fits your trading style and risk. With such low day trading margin you can trade at your own speed. If you have questions about margin for the ES or other markets just give us a call.
The array of markets we offer is staggering. How about Hurricane futures and options? Hail yes. Snowfall futures! Can you dig it? But please do check on liquidity before you trade. We’d be glad to help.
